February is Black History Month and this provides some schools more opportunities to teach race ideology under the guise of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Why is there an entire month dedicated to learning about African American history? Shouldn’t the study of American history serve to unite us as Americans? Do we really need to designate separate months for each identity characteristic?
Grand Haven took the opportunity to promote black authors at the high school. I challenge you to read the books The Nickel Boys, The Black Flamingo and Pet. I haven’t read them and am curious as to what is inside.
Morgan Freeman has some interesting things to say about Black History Month in this short interview with Mike Wallace.
According to Diversity Central, we now have March as National Women’s History Month and Irish-American Heritage Month, April as National Deaf History Month, May as Asian Pacific American Heritage, Older Americans Month and Jewish American Heritage Month, June as Gay-Lesbian Pride Month, September as National Hispanic-Latino Heritage Month – which is actually September 15-October 15, October as National Disability Employment Awareness Month and National Italian American Heritage Month, and November as National American Indian Heritage Month.
Dennis Prager sums up identity ideology in schools in this short video where he gives a speech recommended for every high school principal to give to their community.
“Every American Needs to Hear This Speech”
What would happen if students watched the two videos mentioned above and then discussed race?
Unfortunately, our children are being constantly bombarded with propaganda that pushes a Marxist race ideology. There is a skewed emphasis on the racist Americans and victims who lived at the same time as Martin Luther King Jr., and the crimes of the past are being attributed to people living today that share the same physical characteristics of those provoking yesteryear’s prejudice and intolerance. People are being divided based on physical characteristics and many categories of people celebrate their common identity during one month of the year. The ties that bind us together as Americans like Independence Day, Memorial Day, Washington and Lincoln’s birthdays have evolved into cookouts and days off without the tie to their original significance, resulting in a loss of our national cohesiveness. Instead of uniting children through our shared history, GHAPS is dividing children based on race, and teaching them they can decide their gender. American heroes and history are being disgraced, inexplicably under the guise of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Sad, so sad.
