GH Human Resource Commission, Momentum Center, County Commissioners and GHAPS
They are all connected!
The Grand Haven Human Resource Commission (HRC), is another example of a government entity that has an indoctrination agenda which is directly connected to GHAPS. The HRC also has connections to The Momentum Center, and the Ottawa County Commissioners. On the surface the Grand Haven Human Resource Commission (HRC) looks great! According to their website, they were “Created to encourage, promote and cause mutual understanding, sensitivity, awareness, and respect among all groups in the city and beyond, to prevent discrimination and disorder, and to give effect to the guarantee of equal rights for all assured by the constitution and the laws of this state and of the United States of America.”
We all want those things and that is likely how they convinced so many people to stand behind their work. A deeper look however, reveals, the Grand Haven Human Relations Commission has much in common with organizations pushing left-wing political propaganda. The board is comprised of 7 citizens and 2 students. The HRC chair is Louann Werksma. She is also the Director of Major Gifts and Planning for the Ottawa County United Way and a regular volunteer for the Anti-Racism Task Force at the Momentum Center. (The Anti-Racism Task Force works to create anti-racist activists out of Grand Haven citizens.)
Another GH HRC board member is Wes McGee. Wes McGee is also a member of the Anti-Racism Task Force at the Momentum Center. In fact, he leads the adult book club. Here are a few titles on their book list: American Prison by Shane Bauer, Birth of a White Nation by Jacqueline Battalora, and Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome by Dr. Joy DeGruy. You can see their complete book list here.
The emails below show coordination between Grand Haven Area Public Schools, The Grand Haven Human Relations Commission, The Momentum Center Anti-Racism Task Force (Barbara Lee VanHorssen), The City of Grand Haven (Ashley Latsch), and the Ottawa County Commissioners.
This final email is significant because it shows how deep the connections between those working to indoctrinate our community actually go. The email was forwarded from Barbara Lee VanHorssen at the Momentum Center to Brian Wheeler at GHAPS as well as numerous other people. Reyna Masko, mentioned in the email, is part of the Ottawa County DEI Committee and works as a friend of the court. Louann Werksma is the person who communicated with Barbara Lee VanHorssen in the above emails.
The video referenced in the email below is linked below and I highly encourage you to watch it. Although it just shows a bunch of people talking about Diversity, Inclusion and Equity in Ottawa County, you will see their positions written under their names. They are not random volunteers, but rather people that hold key positions of influence and power that will help the DIE committee to indoctrinate other members of our community. Diversity, inclusion and equity is a buzz phrase that sounds good but it is actually very destructive.
