The GHAPS school board, superintendent and administration are harming our children. Is the district receiving money for masking?
GHAPS has received over 2.5 million dollars to abuse our children with masks. Have you wondered why the school board continually tells parents they are listening yet sits with blank stares month after month when parents explain how masking has harmed their children?
The Grand Haven School District administrators have agreed to comply with existing and UNKNOWN FUTURE directives and guidance from the HHS Secretary. They have agreed to assist the US government in the implementation and enforcement of federal orders related to quarantine and isolation, and have agreed to provide to the CDC copies, access to Covid-19 data collected, and will comply in collecting data requested by the CDC in the future.
This money is sent to schools as part of the American Rescue Plan and sometimes referred to as ESSER funds. This one -page summary from Save Our Schools does a good job of explaining the money/masking relationship.

Child Care Relief Funds - $318,390 – received for staffing expenses to maintain the Open Door program
MiConnect Connectivity Rebate - $93,119 – received for Chomebooks to support at home learning
District Covid grant - $73,862 – received for PPE supplies
Cares Act – Coronovirus Relief Funds - $2,098,000 – received for below items, focused on maintaining the continuity of learning for all students.
This does not include any of the ESSER funding. We will report on ESSER funds in the future. If they are not receiving money for masking, then why are our kids still wearing masks? Does the school board just want to look good in the eyes of more powerful public officials?
Where will this lead? Will vaccines be mandated on our children next? GHAPS Superintendent Scott Grimes announced that 42% of Grand Haven children ages 5-17 have received the Covid injection during the January 10, 2022 school board meeting.
